Lithini IBhayibheli NgoMariya?

 Impendulo yeBhayibheli

IBhayibheli lithi uMariya, umama kaJesu, waba nelungelo elingavamile lokumzala ngesikhathi esayintombi nto. IBhayibheli labikezela ngalesi simangaliso encwadini ka-Isaya, laphinde labika ngokugcwaliseka kwaso emaVangelini kaMathewu noLuka.

Lapho isiprofetho sika-Isaya sikhuluma ngokufika kukaMesiya, sasho lokhu: “Bheka! Intombi empeleni iyokhulelwa, ibelethe indodana.” (Isaya 7:14) Eqhutshwa umoya ongcwele, umbhali weVangeli uMathewu wasebenzisa isiprofetho sika-Isaya lapho ekhuluma ngokukhulelwa kukaMariya. Ngemva kokubhala ukuthi uMariya wakhulelwa ngokuyisimangaliso, uMathewu wathi: “Empeleni konke lokhu kwenzeka ukuze kugcwaliseke lokho okwakhulunywa nguJehova ngomprofethi wakhe, ethi: ‘Bhekani! Intombi a iyokhulelwa ibelethe indodana, iyiqambe ngokuthi u-Imanuweli,’ uma kuhunyushwa okusho ukuthi, ‘uNkulunkulu unathi.’”—Mathewu 1:22, 23.

Nomlobi weVangeli uLuka wabhala ngokukhulelwa kukaMariya okuyisimangaliso. Wabhala ukuthi uNkulunkulu wathumela ingelosi uGabriyeli “entombini eyayithembisene umshado nendoda yendlu kaDavide egama layo linguJosefa; igama laleyo ntombi kwakunguMariya.” (Luka 1:26, 27) UMariya wakuqinisekisa ukuthi wayeyintombi nto. Lapho esezwile ukuthi wayezoba umama kaJesu uMesiya, uMariya wabuza: “Lokhu kuyokwenzeka kanjani, njengoba ngingayazi indoda na?”​—Luka 1:34.

 Intombi nto yayingamthola kanjani umntwana?

UNkulunkulu wasebenzisa umoya ongcwele, ongamandla akhe, ukuze enze uMariya akhulelwe. (Mathewu 1:18) UMariya watshelwa lokhu: “Umoya ongcwele uzokwehlela phezu kwakho, amandla oPhezukonke akusibekele. Ngenxa yaleso sizathu, lokho okuzelwe kuyobizwa ngokuthi kungcwele, iNdodana kaNkulunkulu.” b (Luka 1:35) UNkulunkulu wenza uMariya ukuba akhulelwe ngokuyisimangaliso ngokudlulisela ukuphila kwendodana yakhe esibelethweni sakhe.

 Sasiyini isizathu sokuba uJesu azalwe yintombi nto?

UNkulunkulu wasebenzisa intombi nto ukuze uJesu azalwe engenasono, ngaleyo ndlela wayeyokwazi ukukhulula abantu esonweni nasekufeni. (Johane 3:16; Hebheru 10:5) UNkulunkulu wadlulisela ukuphila kukaJesu esibelethweni sikaMariya. Umoya ongcwele kaNkulunkulu wabe usuyamvikela uJesu njengoba ayekhula esiswini sikaMariya ukuze angasitholi isono.​—Luka 1:35.

Ngakho uJesu wazalwa engenaso isono, efana no-Adamu ngaphambi kokuba one. Nakhu iBhayibheli elikushoyo ngoJesu: “Akenzanga sono.” (1 Petru 2:22) Ngenxa yokuthi wayengenaso isono, uJesu wayezokwazi ukuhlenga abantu esonweni nasekufeni.​—1 Korinte 15:21, 22; 1 Thimothewu 2:​5, 6.

 Ingabe uMariya wahlala eyintombi nto?

IBhayibheli alifundisi ukuthi uMariya wahlala eyintombi nto ukuphila kwakhe konke. Kodwa lisitshela ukuthi uMariya waba nezinye izingane.​—Mathewu 12:46; Marku 6:3; Luka 2:7; Johane 7:5.

IBhayibheli lifundisa ukuthi uJesu wayenabo abafowabo nodadewabo

 Ingabe uMariya wayengenaso isono?

Cha wayenaso. Ngokwe-New Catholic Encyclopedia, imfundiso yokuthi uMariya wayengenaso isono “idlulisela umqondo wokuthi kusukela ekuzalweni kwakhe uMariya oyintombi nto wayengenaso isono esasithola ku-Adamu. Kodwa bonke abanye abantu bazalwa benesono.  . . UMariya wathola UMUSA ongavamile, ngaleyo ndlela wayengenakonakaliswa isono.” c

Ngokuphambene nalokho, iBhayibheli alifundisi ukuthi uMariya wayengenaso isono njengabo bonke abantu. (IHubo 51:5; Roma 5:12) Empeleni, uMariya wabonisa ukuthi wayenesono ngoba wenza umnikelo wokuthethelelwa izono owawenziwa abesifazane ngemva kokuthola umntwana ngaphansi koMthetho kaMose. (Levitikusi 12:2-8; Luka 2:21-24) I-New Catholic Encyclopedia ithi: “Akukho lapho iBhayibheli likhuluma khona ngokuqondile ngokuthi uMariya wayengenaso isono . . . [kumane] kuyisiphetho esenziwa isonto lamaKatolika.”

 Umbono okufanele sibe nawo ngoMariya

UMariya wasibekela isibonelo esihle sokuba nokholo, ukulalela, ukuthobeka, nokuba nothando olujulile ngoNkulunkulu. Ungomunye wabantu abathembekile okufanele sibalingise.​—Hebheru 6:12.

Nokho, nakuba aba nendima ekhethekile yokuba unina kaJesu, iBhayibheli alifundisi ukuthi kufanele simkhonze noma sithandaze kuye. UJesu akazange aphathe uMariya ngendlela ekhethekile, futhi akazange afundise abafundi bakhe ukuba benze kanjalo. Empeleni, akukho lapho okuphinde kukhulunywe khona ngoMariya eTestamentini Elisha ngaphandle kwasemaVangelini nasencwadini yezEnzo.​—IzEnzo 1:14.

Abukho ubufakazi emiBhalweni bokuthi amaKristu okuqala ayephatha uMariya ngendlela ekhethekile, ingasaphathwa-ke eyokumdumisa. Kunalokho, iBhayibheli lifundisa amaKristu ukuba akhonze uNkulunkulu kuphela.​—Mathewu 4:10.

a Igama lesiHebheru elisesiprofethweni sika-Isaya elithi ʽal·mahʹ elisho ukuthi “owesifazane osemusha,” lingabhekisela kumuntu wesifazane osayintombi nto nongaseyona. Nokho, eqhutshwa umoya ongcwele uMathewu wasebenzisa igama eliqondile lesiGreki elithi par·theʹnos, elisho “intombi nto.”

b Abanye abavumelani nokusetshenziswa kwenkulumo ethi “iNdodana kaNkulunkulu,” ngoba bathi inikeza umqondo wokuthi uNkulunkulu walala nomuntu wesifazane. Nokho, iBhayibheli alikufundisi lokho. Kunalokho iBhayibheli libiza uJesu ngokuthi “iNdodana kaNkulunkulu” nangokuthi “izibulo layo yonke indalo,” ngoba nguyena yedwa owadalwa nguNkulunkulu engasizwa muntu. (Kolose 1:13-15) Nalapho iBhayibheli likhuluma ngendoda yokuqala u-Adamu, lisebenzisa inkulumo ethi “indodana kaNkulunkulu.” (Luka 3:38) Isizathu salokho ukuthi u-Adamu akazalwanga kodwa wadalwa nguNkulunkulu.
