  • yeeshu insani mahayajakon se shreshth (1-10)

    • melkeesedek jaisa (6, 10)

    • dukh sehkar aagya maanni seekhi (8)

    • hamesha ka uddhaar dilane ki zimmedari (9)

  • chetavni ki bachchon jaise na rahein (11-14)

5  harek mahayajak insanon mein se liya jaata hai aur use insanon ki khaatir parmeshvar ki seva mein thehraya jaata hai+ taaki woh bheint aur paapon ke prayashchit ke liye balidan chadhaya kare.+  woh un logon ke saath karuna se* pesh aane ke kaabil hota hai jo anjane mein galtiyaan karte hain,* kyonki woh khud bhi apni kamzoriyon ka saamna karta hai.*  isliye use apne paapon ke liye bhi chadhava chadhana hota hai, theek jaise woh doosron ke paapon ke liye chadhata hai.+  ek aadmi aadar ka yah pad apne aap nahin le leta, magar yah use tabhi milta hai jab parmeshvar use thehrata hai, jaise usne haaroon ko thehraya tha.+  usi tarah, maseeh ne bhi khud mahayajak ka pad lekar apni mahima nahin ki,+ balki parmeshvar ne use yah mahima di jisne usse kaha, “tu mera beta hai, aaj main tera pita bana hoon.”+  usne ek aur jagah yah bhi kaha, “tu melkeesedek jaisa yaajak hai aur tu hamesha-hamesha ke liye yaajak rahega.”+  jab maseeh is dharti par zinda tha, to usne unchi aavaz mein pukar-pukarkar aur aansoo baha-bahakar parmeshvar se minnatein aur bintiyaan ki thi+ jo use maut se bacha sakta tha. aur uski suni gayi kyonki woh parmeshvar ka dar maanta tha.  parmeshvar ka beta hote huye bhi usne kai dukh sehkar aagya maanni seekhi.+  aur paripoorna kiye jaane* ke baad,+ use yah zimmedari di gayi ki woh un sabko hamesha ka uddhaar dilaye jo uski aagya maante hain,+ 10  kyonki use parmeshvar ne mahayajak thehraya taaki woh melkeesedek jaisa yaajak ho.+ 11  hamare paas uske baare mein kehne ke liye bahot kuch hai magar tumhein yah sab samjhana mushkil hai, kyonki tum uncha sunnae lage ho. 12  ab tak* to tumhein doosron ko sikhane ke kaabil ban jaana chahiye tha, magar ab yah zaroori ho gaya hai ki koi tumhein parmeshvar ke pavitra vachnon ki buniyadi baatein shurooat se sikhaye+ aur tumhein fir se doodh ki zaroorat hai na ki thos aahar ki. 13  har koi jo doodh hi peeta rehta hai woh sachchai ke vachan se anjan hai, kyonki woh abhi tak bachcha hai.+ 14  magar thos aahar to badon ke liye hai, jo apni sochne-samajhne ki shakti* ka istemal karte-karte, sahi-galat mein fark karne ke liye ise prashikshit kar lete hain.
