3  are galatiya ke naasamajh logo, kisne tumhein bharma liya hai?+ tumhein to saaf-saaf samjhaya gaya tha ki kyon yeeshu maseeh ko kaath par thonk diya gaya.+  main tumse bas ek baat poochhna* chahta hoon. tumhein pavitra shakti, kaanoon mein bataye kaam karne se mili thi ya khushkhabri sunkar vishvas karne se?+  kya tum itne naasamajh ho? tumne pavitra shakti ke mutabik chalte huye shurooat ki thi, ab ant mein kya insani tareeke se chalna chahte ho?+  kya tumne itne dukh bekar hi sahe the? nahin, woh bekar nahin the.  isliye jo tumhein pavitra shakti deta hai aur tumhare beech shaktishali kaam karta hai,+ kya woh isliye karta hai ki tum kaanoon mein bataye gaye kaam karte ho ya isliye ki tumne khushkhabri sunkar us par vishvas kiya tha?  abraham ne bhi “yahova* par vishvas kiya aur is vajah se use nek samjha gaya.”+  beshak tum yah jaante ho ki jo vishvas se chalte hain sirf woh hi abraham ke vanshaj hain.+  shastra ne pehale se yah dekhkar ki parmeshvar vishvas ke aadhar par gair-yahoodiyon ko nek thehrayega, abraham ko yah khushkhabri bata di, “tere zariye sabhi jaatiyaan aasheesh paayengi.”+  isliye jo vishvas se chalte hain, woh abraham ki tarah hi aasheesh paate hain jismein vishvas tha.+ 10  jitne bhi kaanoon mein bataye kaamon par bharosa karte hain, woh shaap ke adheen hain kyonki likha hai, “jo koi kaanoon ki kitab mein likhi sab baaton ko nahin maanta, woh shaapit hai.”+ 11  iske alava, yah baat saaf hai ki kaanoon ke aadhar par kisi ko bhi parmeshvar ki nazar mein nek nahin thehraya jaa sakta+ kyonki likha hai, “jo nek hai, woh apne vishvas se zinda rahega.”+ 12  kaanoon ka vishvas se koi naata nahin tha. usmein sirf yah kaha gaya tha, “jo koi ye kaam karta hai woh zinda rahega.”+ 13  maseeh ne hamein khareedkar+ kaanoon ke shaap se chhudaya+ aur khud hamari jagah shaapit bana kyonki likha hai, “har woh insan jo kaath par latkaya jaata hai woh shaapit hai.”+ 14  yah isliye hua ki abraham ko jo aasheesh mili thi woh maseeh yeeshu ke zariye doosre raashtron ko bhi mile+ aur hum apne vishvas ke zariye woh pavitra shakti paayen+ jiska vaada kiya gaya tha. 15  bhaaiyo, main rozmarra zindagi ki ek misal se samjhata hoon: koi bhi kararnama, fir chahe woh insan ka hi kyon na ho, ek baar jab pakka kar diya jaata hai, to use na radd kiya jaa sakta hai na hi usmein kuch joda jaa sakta hai. 16  ab jo vaade the woh abraham aur uske vansh* se kiye gaye the.+ shastra yah nahin kehta, “aur tere vanshajon* se,” maano woh bahoton ki baat kar raha ho, balki woh sirf ek ke baare mein baat kar raha tha, “aur tere vansh* se,” jo maseeh hai.+ 17  main yah bhi kehta hoon: parmeshvar ne jo karar ya vaada pehale se kiya tha, use woh kaanoon radd nahin kar deta jo 430 saal baad aaya tha.+ 18  isliye ki agar virasat kaanoon ke aadhar par di jaati, to fir yah vaade ki vajah se nahin di jaati. magar sach to yah hai ki parmeshvar ne meharban hokar yah virasat abraham ko ek vaade ke zariye di hai.+ 19  to fir kaanoon kyon diya gaya? yah paapon ko zahir karne ke liye+ baad mein isliye diya gaya taaki yah tab tak rahe jab tak ki woh vansh* na aaye+ jisse vaada kiya gaya tha. yah kaanoon swargdooton ke zariye ek bichvai+ ke haathon pahunchaya gaya tha.+ 20  jahaan sirf ek paksh hota hai vahaan bichvai ki zaroorat nahin hoti. parmeshvar akela woh paksh hai jisne yah vaada kiya hai. 21  to fir, kya kaanoon parmeshvar ke vaadon ke khilaf hai? hargiz nahin! kyonki agar aisa kaanoon diya jaata jo zindagi dila sakta, to ek insan kaanoon ko maankar hi nek thahar sakta tha. 22  magar shastra ne sabko paap ki hirasat mein saunp diya taaki woh vaada jo yeeshu maseeh par vishvas karne par nirbhar hai, unke liye ho jo us par vishvas karte hain. 23  magar vishvas ke aane se pehale, hum kaanoon ki hifazat mein the aur uski hirasat mein saunpe gaye the aur us vishvas ka intazar kar rahe the jo prakat honevala tha.+ 24  is tarah kaanoon hamein maseeh tak le jaane ke liye hamari dekhrekh karnevala* bana+ taaki hum vishvas ki vajah se nek thehraye jaayen.+ 25  ab vishvas aa pahuncha hai+ isliye hum kisi dekhrekh karnevale* ke adheen nahin rahe.+ 26  darasal tum sab maseeh yeeshu mein vishvas+ karne ki vajah se parmeshvar ke bete ho.+ 27  isliye ki tum sabne, jinhonne maseeh mein baptisma liya hai, maseeh ko pehan liya hai.+ 28  ab na to koi yahoodi raha na yoonani,+ na koi gulam na hi aazad,+ na koi aadmi na koi aurat+ kyonki tum sab maseeh yeeshu ke saath ekta mein ho.+ 29  aur agar tum maseeh ke ho, to tum vaakai abraham ka vansh* ho+ aur vaade+ ke mutabik vaaris ho.+
